PROPERTY TO BOOM IN BUNDABERG
PROPERTY in Bundaberg is set to boom in 2010, according to Herriots Certified Practising Valuers.
Independent property valuer and real estate consumer advocate Iain Herriot said the combination of major industries, such as sugar cane, and being so close to the Great Barrier Reef made the region attractive for buyers.
"Small crops such as tomatoes, cucumbers and melons are also predominant in this area and it is fast becoming Queensland's food bowl. South-East Queensland is becoming more populated every day; it is therefore logical this area is where the overflow will go," he said.

Woodgate Beach is a small fishing hamelet just 3.5 hours north of Brisbane, just like Noosa used to be. Get in now while you can still afford it. Once discovered you will be sorry if you didn't. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

"Originally from Melbourne, and now living in Brisbane, I've dreamt of retiring to 'the beach' for many years. I 'thought' too long about Noosa, Mooloolaba and Coolum and totally missed out on being able to afford any of these - likewise with the NSW coast - from Brunswick Heads to Lennox Heads. When my partner and I (both aged 58 years) discovered Woodgate through the recommendation of friends I knew our time had 'come'. The beach is absolutely beautiful - our beach house (which contains everything) is 150m from the beach PLUS we could actually AFFORD it! Woodgate is presently 'sleepy' and undiscovered but so was Noosa! I guarantee Woodgate won't stay a secret for long! We love it as a holiday place - 4 hrs from home and in 5 years we plan to retire here. With Childers 25 mins away and Bundaberg 45 mins, all our needs will be met. Woodgate has all one needs to 'survive' - a doctor, chemist, supermarket, hotel and bowls club; but most of all, it's a gorgeous place! My dreams of walks on the beach, sunsets, fishing, swimming and friendly people WILL finally come true!! I hesitate to tell too many of what we have discovered. There are few places like this left.
